THOUGHTS AN BEST BITS
This was a good watch its one of those watch it every few years kind of forget about it. They really take the film and story and histroy to heart and act the part even when you break it down they are playing Germans the bad guys in ever fucking movie and history book but these are good guys showing us different characters and types that we have never seen beforebut the cast and crew pull together to show us a different side to some people in Germany during this madness and give heart and fear to characters and real people shitting themselves trying to plot against old Adolf trying to get ride of this fucking nutbag killing everything and everyone at this point to show this and bring it to life was a great story and idea. Does it maybe miss some action or an edge maybe and it seems to sort of fail and drag out at one point and then its like boom its over the plot fails spoilers they dont kill Hitler and they all get fucking mercd.
Great cast we have of course the American Jackie Chan Thomas Cruise doing all his own eye patch stunts and then Kenneth Branagh Bill Nighy Tom Wilkinson Terence fucking Stamp Thomas Kretschmann and even fucking Eddie i look like claire balding Izzard its just an all star cast here full of faces and names to enjoy its a buffet of actors to feast on and enjoy no body drops the ball here its a great job all around.
Ok so the director is Singer and he maybe allegedly fucking all the German kids when filming is done i dont know a few stories of late that say he loves the dick have been dropped around hollywood but fuck does he make a good film when hes not fucking kids ok not always lets skip Superman Returns (2006) and Xmen Apocalypse (2016) but hes on form here and delivers a movie by the end im almost in tears for poor Tom getting gunned down yelling long live sacred Germany waw never would have thought those words would be said in film or that you would pull for that German dude but they pull it off here and make a sort of suspense film based on trying to kill Hitler and i fucking know they failed they must have yet i was still watching enjoying it thinking oh fuck they gonna get him haha. If your a fan of the Cruise give it a watch next time you spot it on the old magic picture box.
