Filming took place during Australias owrst weather in a century including floods and black outs and they didnt lose a single day of filming so i guess that bad weather was overrated.
THOUGHTS AN BEST BITS
Based on a shirt film made a few years ago this kinda should just have been left lol its kinda gash for most of its time. We have the totaly white as fuck English guy in Australia with no reason why no like oh hes on holiday or nothing like ok and the zombie outbreak has alreayd happened so him and the wife are on the run she of course isa dumb cunt and gets in trouble in minutes leaving him with a kid to look after and protect and then come sthe typical writing and directing from hey shes infected lets leave her in the car up front with the driver cause nothing bad ever happens having the infected wife in the front seat fuck me id have ditched her ass so fast on the side of the road to protect the kid bye. But nooooo i get fucking White Freeman gets infected thanks to said cunt wife and then hes gonna die in 3 days so my film and journey is that hes dead ? why care im gonna lose him in less than an hour now and anything he does is pointless its meaningless to watch at this point but i stuck with it like bad teethy oral i stuck with it an hoped for a good ending haha its got maybe 6 people in the entire film one a kid whos never acted and shes kinda good shes got that Aliens (1986) Newt vibe going for her but the whole thing of getting to some tribe in the outback and they are off starting fires painted faces and killing zombies bore off i dont care about old wrinky folk keeping the old ways alive and i dont care about a dead hero in my movie hes just basically fucked and looking for help with his kid so she can live on its heart warming by the end and good but thats on Freeman and not so much the story or anything going on. The characters are first rate typical asshole white guy killing zombies and grabs some old dude and dumps him in a cage to bait zombies and his kidnap victim wifey that gets killed of course and the kids keeping his zombie dad alive ahhhh its alot of dumb and not enough of the basic story a dad saving his kid and survival its to much filmed all in one mile sqaured area of land and water that we double back on yawnnnnn and then it ends with all aborigines living in one spot and holding up the white baby ? wheres all there mates white folk some black token dude all aborigines so the zombies have killed all the whites they are to dumb to survive get fucked i cant take much of this.
Directing wana guess what im gonna fucking say here haha yeh you got it first big film the directors are the folk who made the short this is based on so they had years to change add perfect what they did do more cash time and help better actors and this is what i get ugh.
The end while sad just was lacking heart i wanted Freeman to live and survive and see his kid not his entire journey is to find a perma baby sitter and then hes fucked its like if every Marvel movie ended with all the Heroes dying after the first film it just lacked some x factor for me a little something extra to make this a film i can watch again and again this is another one and done cum dump for my eyes. And the bugging white guy kidnapping old dude and killing zombies he just randomly shows up at some other point in the movie and its like wait what of course the simplistic way Freeman plays it is never like how we do as kids and say id do this and id do that its like if your real life dad did it haha lame and nout much a good short maybe never seen it and never will but maybe it shoulda stayed that way cause this was just missing to much maybe if a different director had seen the short and stepped in and made it with whats misisng and added to it with style and new fresh points but to just be a remake its kinda like playing a game and you die and retart the level nothing changed you just went for another shot its the same game and level. Blah its maybe better than some of the other journeys Bilbo has went on in the past few years but this is a Netflix and ignore kinda flick for me.
