This turd cost around 15 million to make an make back just 37 million at the box office world wide.... seems like it did well but take into account most movies spend around 20 millions to advertise and the cinemas showing it keep around 30% of the total it takes in so so thats at least 12 millions to the cinema putting the takings around 25 million so if they spend more than 10 million to advertise its a loss and even than all the producers and ivestors of the movie and actors who are under contract to get a cut of the profit would get nothing.
THOUGHTS AND BEST BITS
Steaming pile of shite. This was fucking painful to watch for the most part i had no clue who these fucking people are and no clue why im not watching Brad fucking arm Pitt for the most of it.
We start with some fucking chuzwazlers (Aussie types) and the style and look makes me thinks its in oz but its not turns out its set in shitsville usa. Then we follow our two unknown fucking bugging stars as they fuck around and waste time then finally move on to get some job robbing some gangster type joint it takes about 40 fucking minutes to finally get to see the fucking "star" of the movie ? like what the fuck. And even when he does show up hes still only in it for like four or five scenes and event then well over half of it is pointless could have been cut from the movie. And what i mean by that is you know when someone makes a joke and says "oh character1 made no difference to the movie if he wasnt in it it would still all have happened" well thats what this is. We have Ray heineken thats a different matter Liotta in here with a small cameo wasting his talents on a part anyone could play and then add to the mix fucking old fat whast his face James Gandolfini stumbles in for a little with Brad giving a little sort of wink wink hey member us two in THE MEXICAN(2001) so in walks Gandolf and hes some old hitman with a drinking problem so after two pointless scenes with him and Brad. Then Brad goes back to some boss type middle man and says hey lets pay some hooker to start a fight with Gandolf and then get him arrest get him out the way cause hes useless ? what the fucks he been wrote into the movie for then he does nothing but chew up 20 minutes for no good reason like why ? then its left to Brad to carry whats left of this pointless movie for a further 30 minutes ending it in some strange fucking way i mean it feels like its mid way in then boom credits lol this is at best a first draft of a movie and has maybe 40 minutes of stuff that would make it into any other final cut of a movie its fucking dreadful.
Acting wise sure Brads Brad and hes on form and doing his thing but you still get the feeling most actors had maybe a weeks worth of work here at best. Gandolfs fine here to but hes got such a bugging character it just feel awkward to watch those pointless scenes now.
Avoid this at all costs save yourselves pain and dissapointment and go watch reruns of.... anything hell stick on some Enya on youtube on repeat for 40 minutes and it would be more eventful that this crap. I will also add that this director is the same shit "writer" and director that gave us THE ASSISSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD(2007) the only film in history i have seen people walk out of a total of 11 yeh i did count lol while i sat through about 7 hours of film.
