THOUGHTS AN BEST BITS
Its fucking odd its like not low budget but got an indy feel as it has one office scene to start and then the Jurrasic Park (1993) chopper to location scene and then the movies entire cast is inside one bunker and its 4 people for the duration of the movie.
As for the movie ugh i mean its shit to many folk overrate this shit its got some ginger guy from Star Wars Domhnall ? fuck kinda name is that who is just bugging in general hes our lead and of course the robot played by the fucking delicious Alicia Vikander god damn is she fine shes like if guys in 2019 went and made a hot chic on a computer Weird Science (1985) style and just make the most petite cute as fuck chic its her now sure you see none of this due to the effects of her half robocop brain hanging out the back lol but shes a dime piece and just a great acrtess and of course the robot looks like her and not Cris Cyborg the human man troll and our lead ginger of course falls for cute robot while "testing" her for Mexican Bill Gates and then its kinda odd and slow paced and just off for me the robor seems to fuck with shit and one guy knows and the other doesnt but he does and then he knows he knows so he fucks with shit the night before Scooby Doo style and boom the robot gets out ugh boring and slow and odd and just not a great watch really.
Directing wise ugh again how many films must my eyes but subjected to with first time fucking directors i go use imdb and yup this director Alex Garland has NEVER directed anything not a fucking lick not a tv show nothing ? who gives a nobody first timer 15 plus million to make a movie and direct it ? crazy rich drunk dudes. The dude is how ever a pretty good writer he wrote The Beach (2000) 28 Days Later (2002) Sunshine (2007) sure he seems to be sucking Danny Boyles dong for work here but hes wrote some good shit he also kinda works on a version of scripts for Dredd (2012) and ok so hes wrote some nice new shit in the last twenty years but hes not a producer or director and this film lacks real feel and style tone movement heart drama basically everything you fucking need and should train to work on and do so for me he can suck a fuck.
I started watching this years ago got so bored i turned it off and stopped watching but i gave it a second go and finished it last night ugh fuck off its gash i would rather watch woman getting pulled over for duis on youtube and scream and kick off it would be more entertaining than this ever could be its just so poor in so many ways keep in mind even taking into account inflation this cost 20% more to make than Rocky (1976) did and that was written and made thirty eight years earlier. If its on one of those old box picture things you know a tv avoid it go watch anything else and dont waste your time.
