THOUGHTS AND BEST BITS
I do love the vibe and feel from ScarJo and Evens this time around it felt a little more fun and friendly and even sexy in places with the two of them. So almost any scene with them both.
Probably the film of the years so far. But we do have a few more action adventure super hero movies to go.
Story wise its pretty good its not outstanding its more a continuation of what we had with CAPTAIN AMERICA(2011) its like a behind the scenes of S.H.I.E.L.D. and what we thought was going on isnt. But its done a bit fast its done in such a way that fits the movie but is a little over the top and uncovered for me to fast.
Action wise its a good step up from the original. Caps now clearly been trained and has adjusted to his speed and powers fully we have far more fight scenes in place and a lot more action sequences during the movie but it did a good blend of transition between the fights to story and not just a case of cut lets move to the other fight scene set.
Cast wise well its all out favs back with the addition of Anthony Mackie as Falcon. Problem is i dont like him much. I can tolerate him just not a huge fan of him as an actor. And we also have Emily VanCamp and as much as i thin shes hot shes her role is so small and almost pointless other than to have her in for the comic geeks removing her from the film would affect nothing and not even slow it down or change it in one way. But for me the best thing of the movie was actually ScarJo for me she stole it the writers and director gave her much more depth and a chance to show her character more and with her and Evens the scenes were much more fun. We even have old Jackson getting in on some of the action this time which i loved. My only complaint is that we didnt have more ScarJo and Evens together.
All in its a good flick. Its fast passed and will definitely hold the attention of younger generations who cant watch anything longer than a youtube video before turning emo and getting bored. But for me it got a little to fast in places. It felt like i had been watching it for an hour and it was closer to two so in some ways its good and has a lot more packed into it but still felt fast and a little bit like if not identical to THOR THE DARK WORLD(2013) with its ending. I only wish it had more of a slow down in the middle then had a cameo from say the Hulk instead of the lame Falcon dude and in many ways it almost needed a Hulk by the end.
Give it a watch people. Unless you hated the first movie lol in that case go watch something else lol.
