What a pile of shit. Total and utter gash. The films a lazy lazy abomination of movie making by Bay. Nothing but a money grabbing hopeful pile of crap.
Directing wise lazy as fuck. Nothing new no style no look or feel or anything just copy and paste camera angles he used in BAD BOYS(1996) and basically what he used in the first three movies in the franchise. He uses the same camera angles the same camera angles looking up towards the sky same everything hes just done nothing new or even likable here. And most of the movie looks like an mtv music video and is so stereo typical... for instance the start of the movie we see Marky driving towards the camera with the sun behind him and the camera is just over the wing mirror of the car and you know hes gonna look out the window to his left in 5.4.3.2.... there it is haha. And this goes on through the entire movie. Not to mention story telling waw what a pile of warm shit lol. Its like a Transformers version of PROMETHEUS(2012) it posts more questions that it answers and explains nothing. its juts lazy lazy film making in order to go from one scene to the next. Oh what can we do em lets have them up high falling and then have them in a car chase but no explanation or story telling linking them together and making reasons for things just lazy.
Acting wise i rip into Marky Mark a lot but he was good. He looked good was on form and he seemed to really want to be in this movie and was doing everything he could to make it fun but no amount of effort was gonna make this shit pile any better. And that goes for the young and very hot Nicola whats her face. Stunning to look at and i was thinking going in hmmm shes gonna be like some hot model who cant act but no i was surprised she was actually really good. Was she just some copy an paste blonde from the last movie hell yeh again Bay being lazy has just sat down and said "ok they liked a blonde last time lets do that again" and stuck her in here. We also have Frasier and Stanley Tucci as well as the very sexy Sophia Myles but why im not sure. Myles had such a short cameo it was unreal apart from her being on set in about four locations she must have had about 4 days work of work and maybe 10 lines of dialogue her role was pointless and i mean fully pointless like remove her character and parts made no impact on the movie. And Stanleys part was under used and crap to as for old Frasier aka Kelsey Grammer he was a waste total and utter waste hes our bad guy cia character and they stuck him in way more scenes than he ever needed to be in.
We have a not to bad start all be it terrible dialogue from Nicola and then some crazy pointless reasons as to how Marky Mark comes across an old truck and im still not sure WTF its like hes in town to meet his partner and then goes into an old cinema and then buys a truck ? eh what wait. Then brings it back of course bad guys show up later on and then cue the pointless boyfriend of Nicolas character who by the way has no part in the movie or need for in the movie and was terrible but the only reason to have him in the movie was because hes a "race car driver" and just as the bad guys show up hes on hand to drive them really fast into some car building jump stunt.... then hes got no place in the movie and is just a tag along. As for the daddy daughter tag team its just ARMAGEDDON(1998) copy and paste. and the story is well fucking light and dumb is the best way i can describe it. As for why the movie is set in parts of China its simple each of the movies made more and more money at the box office over the years in China proving that they are the biggest fans of this movie franchise so why not give them a little screen time and cater the film to that audience like WHORES. Sadly why the film taking place any where near China is beyond me it makes fuck all sense the movie has an American inventor and American contractor working in Chicago with the Cia in order to make new weapons for America so why would you have another facility outside of America and of course mid film pointless character No6 says "lets take it to our Hong Kong facility" haha sell out cunts. And to the mix transformers have always been transformers and swapped from vehicles to giant robot people things ? but always just been transformers now we have a samurai transformer haha sell out muthafuckas hes not only voiced by Ken Watanabe one of the best actors just now but of course Asian and the transformer looks like a fucking samurai old school ching chong china man face complete with armor and style and swords lol yeh not at all racist with that shit are you Bay. So now hes sold out and made it for an Asian market so they can have samurai transformer toy for all the kids but most of the fight scenes are copy and paste from the last movie... only instead of Optimus prime flying in and spinning around taking out transformers saving the day he now jumps in on a dinobot and spins around in the same way saving the day lol. Total shit fest copy and paste movie so avoid it now.
