THOUGHTS AND BEST BITS
Aww man hard to pick a set moment out as its got some great scenes in here but the 1st planet they land on makes for a great big scene and has some great moments in it.
Ok this is how you go about making a film take note motherfuckers. Its not perfect its a little rushed at one point but at a total of about 169 minutes of film i can see why but dont worry cause its not an arse numbing film its gonna feel like an easy 90 minutes while watching it its that good.
The basic story is what you get in the trailer we have our favorite texan Matt Mcconaissance take to the skies and pilot a ship up into space to explore the galaxy for new worlds for mankind to travel to and survive as the earth is dying. But into the mix is much much more with the likes of.... wait mini Spoilers here.... Nasa has already sent out probes and ships into the blackhole and thinks they have found a handful of new planets to inhabit so off Cooper must go with his team of scientists to explore them and find out if they are in fact capable of surviving on them. However some more mini Spoilers here with the addition of going into blackholes the scientific theory of time being lost means hours can become years back home meaning our team could run the risk of taking to long to help save the world.
Ok so onwards to the cast and what a cast we have here some great acting all round. We have of course our two leads Matt and Catwoman. Now i was never really a fan of the cat as i seen her as a kind of bugging face every since i seen a portion of The Princesses Dogging Diaries i hated her lol i mean i really hated her didnt think she could act thought she was completely overrated and had a big ugly smile that left her face looking like a Simpsons version of Jason Priestely and well just didnt like or enjoy her in anything.... but she has just won me over. yes she starts of all Anne like and bugging but by the time she suits up for space she starred to win me over and by the end impress me. But a big surprise for me well two actually 1. was the extra cast members i didnt know about as i didnt check out imdb as i didnt want to no anymore than the trailer told me so if you want an extra treat dont look up whos in it and enjoy the extras lol. 2. the little Mackenzie Foy who plays Coopers Daughter and normally i hate kid actors as they act like mini adults an not kids but she was great here and did such a great job. All in well you have a cast that could sweep any awards ceremony so you wont be disappointed.
Now as i loved the overall some small things did bug me like the little tone on one part of the music making it sound a little to much like that boring fucking film 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY(1968) mostly due to the fact that films a total snooze fest and shit... and overrated by fanboys now its just a small tone in the music at one bit but you get a vibe from 2001 space turd maybe its a little homage but i say leave it the fuck alone and move on. Also the pace for me strangely i thought it moved just a little to fast at the start just at the points Cooper gets the job of pilot it just warp speeds to space so fast i was like wow. Like i say little things that i can live with and maybe some day we might get a slower better cut of the movie thats three hours plus cause id fucking watch it.
This is a must see at the cinema dont wait for dvd or stream it as it wont be the same its just such a good movie its not often i call a movie beautiful and this is one of those times. Its style is good sure but the father daughter story is just heart warming so if your a heartless Canadian cunt like some folk i know dont even bother to stick this film on ever lol cause you wont like it one bit. Expect to cry 3 or 4 times during this movie its that heart warming. The story is a little complex in parts so anyone under 15 i would recommend you fuck off and go watch glee cause this will be to boring and slow for you and is all about story its got no lightsabers or singing and dancing in it and if your under 10 dont even bother to watch it cause you wont under stand the movie keep up or get it and its got nothing for you its a smart intelligent realistic style movie think INCEPTION(2010) in space lol. Oh yeh the robots the little crazy lego robot dudes just fucking rock lol they seem so stupid early on but they fucking rule i want one. And the little robot dudes are voiced by the guy from THE COLLECTOR(2009) but im pretty sure there is no after credit scenes involving that guy coming to snatch the robots at the end haha. Go see it while you can folks.
