The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent a war that results in doom for both humans and mutants alike.

Including his cameo in the previous x-men movie this is Jackmans seventh time playing Wolverine. The first scene when Wolverine is sent back into his younger body was not scripted to have Jackman nude or shirtless but Jackman asked to do it that way stating "i worked hard as hell to get this body might as well show it off.. besides Wolverine doesnt wear boxers".
THOUGHTS AND BEST BITS
Hard to pick out one set bit or moment but the film does have more than a good few moments that just make you laugh all the way through.
One of if not the best movie of 2014. Its got a much better tone and feel to the movie than many of the last films largely due to the return on Singer but still the mix of old cast and new really does give the film a huge boost and make it that much more enjoyable.
Story wise its pretty easy to get into its not complicated or confusing in anyway and is explained early on in the movie letting you sit back relax and enjoy. Now the story itself is what we all expect from the trailer the x-men send back Wolverine back in time to his past self and he then must unite the x-men and have them avoid any future war. Of course easier said than done.
Action wise its pretty light BUT constant its a pg sure but its got action throughout the movie and the tone of the movie is pretty fun its got a great sense of humor unlike some of the past x-men movies and for this reason with a great story good action and it never stalls for time it keeps going with a good pace throughout and this is what makes it very enjoyable and probably the best movie of the year for me.
Cast wise well we have all our favorites back and they are fucking legends lol. And even the new cast members even with smaller parts or even non speaking parts are damn good. This is due to some great directing from Singer of course but still the cast dont disappoint.
If you havent seen the movie yet go see it its fantastic i wont rant to much and give away any spoilers for this movie as its one to see at the cinema so fucking get youre arse in gear and go see it already.
